the remote host is dead ..again

I'm on nmap 5.00 on debian squeeze .. openvas 7


I just started using it and it says the remote host is dead for all
addresses that I can't ping.

I thought this was fixed earlier

Hi,

the remote host is dead for all addresses that I can't ping.

have you noted the changed default setting of the alive-tests
in OpenVAS 7:

The default setting for the Alive-Test changes from ICMP&TCP&ARP
to just ICMP. Hence it can happen that results change for some of
your Tasks because some systems are not regarded as alive anymore.
